Meet the Captains of Never Enough Bluewater Charters!
Capt. Craig
Capt. Craig Thatcher was born in Cranston Rhode Island and grew up in Goldsboro, North Carolina. As a child Craig would go back to Providence, Rhode Island where he had a summer job working on a boat with his childhood friend – conking the waters of what is known as Bullock‘s Cove and going to Prudence Island with his family.
Captain Craig comes from a deep heritage of spending time on the ocean boating, as his entire family grew up on the waters of Rhode Island and was part of East Providence Yacht Club.
Through the years Craig spent many days fishing with his father offshore of North Topsail Beach.
In late 2019, Capt. Craig met his business partner Barry Hodowanic, a person Craig would consider one of his best friends and together ventured into the charter fishing business.
In 2020, Craig obtained his Captains License and holds the endorsements of a 25 ton master with towing endorsements.
Capt. Barry
Capt. Barry is from Pamlico County, North Carolina and grew up fishing the waters of the Neuse River and Core Sound with his father.
Since 2014, Capt. Barry has been fishing offshore out of Beaufort Inlet, North Carolina and has been progressively expanding his knowledge and boat size.
While only recently obtaining his Captain’s License, Capt. Barry has been operating boats since he could safely manage the tiller on the 9.9 Evinrude that powered his father’s Jon Boat.
Barry met business partner and best friend Capt. Craig on a throw-together fishing trip and it’s been an adventure ever since.
In 2020, Barry and Craig purchased the Never Enough II out of New Jersey and drove her home to Beaufort, North Carolina.
Barry enjoys eating fish as much as he likes catching them and loves sharing his favorite seafood recipes with our charter customers. Triggerfish is by far his favorite fish swimming in the ocean!
